vyb studio vyb (pronounced ‘vibe’) stands for Vibes, Yoga, Beats. Join us for yoga classes, sound baths, & more! vyb studio is a powerful hot yoga studio in Winston Salem.

We offer Rocket Yoga, Power Yoga, Ashtanga-inspired yoga, Sound Baths, Ayurevda consults, and more all in our small shala space located through our backyard. You might find our approach to yoga a bit different, but we like it that way. We believe that your practice should be fun, challenging, and inspire personal and spiritual growth on and off the mat. Through dynamic flows, loud music, and attention to the breath, you will cultivate dharana (concentration), build cardiovascular fitness and muscular strength, enhance your mobility and flexibility, and deepen your connection to your true Self. Enjoy weekly Sound Baths to reset your nervous system and destress the mind.

We’ll begin with an hour of all-levels yoga designed to help you slow down, move mindfully, and spark your creativity. From there, we’ll gather in community to channel that inspired energy into our journals.

Junk journaling is a free-form, intuitive style of journaling that uses everyday “found” materials—think scraps of paper, magazine clippings, ticket stubs, fabric, drawings, words, and textures. There are no rules and no right or wrong way to do it. It’s less about perfection and more about self-expression, play, and telling your story through layers and collage.

No yoga or journaling experience is needed—just come as you are. This is a space to create, connect, and enjoy being in community.

The practice of Ayurveda is a practice of greater self-awareness. When we have greater self-awareness, that’s truly when yoga starts to unfold within us—not just in our physical bodies—but in the other layers of ourselves: the mind body, the emotional body, the wisdom body, and the bliss body.

Ayurveda brings these layers, called koshas, into union with one another when we practice daily choices and habits that are in line with nature’s energies around us and in us. When we bring all aspects of ourselves together in harmony with nature, that’s truly when we start to live at a higher vybration.

This workshop, led by , a Certified Chopra Health Ayurvedic Teacher trained by Deepak Chopra and other Ayurvedic physicians, offers a grounded, practical introduction to Ayurvedic living you can immediately apply to your everyday life.

This workshop will help you:
✅ Understand your unique mind/body type
✅ Identify foods, movement, and habits that support or deplete your health and happiness
✅ Recognize early signs of imbalance and correct them before dis-ease manifests
✅ Align your lifestyle with daily and seasonal cycles of nature

📣Meditation Club is going VIRTUAL📣

What’s the point of yoga? To prepare our bodies and minds for meditation!

Join on Wednesdays at 7:30am for 30 minutes of meditation practice via Zoom. We hope this new virtual format + time change will help you stay consistent and accountable to this life changing, so-worth-it practice 🙏

Meditating in the morning is the best way to start your day so you’re more grounded, calm, and centered. We’re not worried about getting it “right” or having the perfect meditation experience—we just show up time and time again. Consistency and discipline is where real transformation happens!

Each session begins with gentle guidance (breath awareness, pranayama, visualization, or simple techniques), followed by quiet seated meditation.

Open to all levels.
Cameras optional.
Come as you are.

Each session is recorded and shared to registrants so you can return to the practice on your own time. We would love to see this grow and potentially add more sessions! 🙃✨

Here’s what’s new:

1️⃣Meditation Club—now a VIRTUAL format on Wednesday mornings at 7:30am. Free for members and new student intro pass holders. You can drop-in for $5 or become a Meditation Club Member for $15/month.

2️⃣NEW CLASS: Spiritual Warrior—half movement, half meditation. Thursdays at 6am. This is an energizing yet grounding fundamentals-based vinyasa practice where movement is used as preparation for meditation.

3️⃣Grounded with DaLisa—moved to Wednesdays at 7:30pm and still offers a discounted drop-in of $10!

4️⃣Rocket Happy Hour—offered two Fridays this month! Rather than the traditional concept of discounted drinks and socializing, Rocket Yogis see Happy Hour as a time to elevate their practice, connect with their community and find joy on the mat. This high-energy class will leave the body charged with energy—a perfect way to end your work week and start the weekend!

Durham's Baddest and most Powerful hot yoga studio. Offering hot yoga classes in a night club inspired environment – which means low lighting, loud beats, and a high-energy, high-vybing atmosphere. We love the darkness and the loud music for two reasons: 1. You’re able to focus on your own practice and not on what the person next to you is doing. 2. Music is a motivator and gets you totally in the zone. The darkness and the music get you out of your head, onto your mat, and into a meditative state.

It’s definitely a different vibe at vyb. Yoga culture in the U.S. has been very exclusive and only attractive to a certain type of person. We never fit into that exclusive community and wanted something else. Our goal for vyb was to create a space that wasn’t your stereotypical yoga studio. We wanted to create a space that is nitty, gritty, and not so serious. We believe in keeping the practice grounded and rooted in authenticity, but we believe that you should have fun and be creative, too. Whether you want to sweat, build strength, enhance your flexibility and mobility, or just chill out, we’ve got a class for you. All of our classes are accessible to students of all fitness levels.

Lastly and most importantly, we believe in creating community and connection, as well as giving back to our community. Through our free personal development book club, we strive to create a community that lifts each other up and inspires each other to keep growing. We are also committed to giving back to our community of Durham through money made from our retail section. Every sales quarter, we will give a portion of our revenue generated from vyb branded apparel to local Durham charities and people in need. By supporting our small business, you’re not only supporting vyb–you’re supporting our community of Durham.
