This year, our Veterans Day was taken to another level with stories from retired Marine, Barry Moore. After pledging allegiance to our flag and singing our National Anthem, he told us stories of humor, pride, and interest in his experiences in the Marines.

Following this, we acknowledged all of our Veterans and concluded with multiple patriotic tunes that warmed the heart, filled the soul, and made our eyes well up with happiness and remembrance.

Debbie Cox played the piano exquisitely as usual, and her son-in-law, Curtis Coe from Cornerstone Caregiving, arranged for both her and Barry to be there! It was a touching and unforgettable time of honoring our Veterans on this special day!❤️💙

There are few moments that bring greater joy, pride, and emotion than watching a soldier salute the flag he risked his life to defend—especially during the National Anthem on Veterans Day.

Former Air Force Veteran Jim Clark displayed profound sincerity and emotion without saying a word, through this simple yet powerful gesture of the highest respect any soldier can give.

Thank you, Jim, for your service—and to all of our Arbor Ridge Veterans, we are equally proud and deeply grateful for each of you!

A huge thank you to the North Carolina Department of Justice (NCDOJ) for coming from Raleigh to speak to us about frauds and scams! We showed up with open minds, and our notebooks, ready to absorb the helpful information that was shared. 🗒️✏️We are now better equipped to recognize and reports scams when they come our way!
