We are starting to plan the 2026 Miles for Migraine event in NC
it will be held 12 Sept 2026 Jamison Park
I am leading the Planning committee - let me know if you want to join us and I can give you additional information (Meeting virtually 1 Wed PM per month).
I am also looking for businesses that want to sponsor the event - there is a NEW promotions package this year with additional options (please reach out - happy to share)

For all those of you that have not heard of this event - here is additional information:
Winston-Salem is one of only 14 locations nationwide hosting this event, and we draw participants from across North Carolina. This annual gathering brings together patients, caregivers, providers, and researchers to share their experiences and reconnect with the community. The event offers options to walk, run, or simply relax based on individual preference.
There will be a dedicated area for sponsors to host a tent and engage with community members. Attendance in past years has ranged from 300 to 500 participants from throughout the state.
This year, registration is free for those choosing to walk or relax, and early registration for runners is $12.01 through April 21st.
All proceeds from the event directly support the Comprehensive Headache Program at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. These funds are used to enhance our fellowship program, provide scholarships for conferences and investigator-initiated research, support team development, and ultimately improve patient care.
