Warmer weather means more outdoor adventures with your pet—long walks, trail adventures, backyard zoomies, and (sometimes) the occasional injury.

Dr. Evan Ward recently shared a great outcome using KeraVet Gel on a paw pad laceration case, with a smooth recovery once the bandage came off. Results like this are why some vets are adding it to their clinic supplies and personal pet first-aid kits as travel and adventure season approaches.

Missed it in December? Don’t worry, we saved you a (virtual) seat.

Dr. Natalie Marks went live with a must-watch webinar on taking a total wound care approach, because great medicine doesn’t stop at closing the incision. It supports the whole patient: physically and emotionally.

KeraVet was proud to sponsor the conversation. After all, we’re big believers that wound care should be smarter, smoother, and a little less dramatic (looking at you, E-collar).

The good news? It’s now available on demand and totally free through dvm360®.

Let’s be honest… nobody loves the cone.
Not vets. Not pets. And definitely not pet parents.

From bumping into walls to struggling to eat or sleep, the classic E-collar can make recovery stressful for everyone involved. And when pets are stressed, healing isn’t always easy.

We explore why the “cone of shame” became the default—and what alternatives are helping pets heal more comfortably.

As seasonal allergies flare up, so do itchy skin issues—making hotspots a common springtime challenge for dogs. Early support of the wound environment is key to stopping the itch-chew cycle and promoting uncomplicated healing.

Dr. Klotz saw the results—and you can, too.

Request your free KeraVet Gel sample today and see how KeraVet Gel handles the stubborn cases (and btw it’s simple enough for the routine ones too). https://keravetbio.com/contact-us/

Your mother's first instinct: antibiotics. Ours? Targeted topical therapy that actually works.

Our latest blog explores why topicals are the unsung heroes of wound care: they help wounds heal faster, keep patients comfy, and cut down unnecessary systemic antibiotics. KeraVet Gel is powered by keratin to support healing, and thanks to a built-in lick deterrent, there’s less E-collar drama too.

Stop overtreating and start local. Check it out on the blog! Link in bio!

Spring isn’t random. It’s a coordinated biologic reactivation after stress.

Wound healing isn’t random either.

It’s regulated biology!

Inflammation resolves.
Repair signaling activates.
Cells migrate.
Extracellular matrix rebuilds.

KeraVet Gel supports this transition with a keratin-based scaffold that mimics the native extracellular matrix, helps maintain moisture balance, and protects the wound while tissue regenerates.

Not just coverage.

Biologic support.

We checked back in on Nugget the kitten, and we’re happy to report that everyone is surviving post-surgical life—including Dad 😄

KeraVet Gel has been applied twice daily since Friday, and we’re already excited to see a scab forming. Small win, big progress, very good kitten vibes all around.

Healing is officially underway—stay tuned for more Nugget updates!
