This patient had been struggling with a chronic acral lick granuloma for 4 years. Previous treatments, including antibiotics, gabapentin, and Apoquel, were unsuccessful due to the pet parent’s difficulty maintaining E-collar compliance.

KeraVet Gel was prescribed to interrupt the licking behavior and support wound healing. After a single application, the patient stopped licking the lesion entirely. With twice-daily applications for 5 days, the wound showed clear progression toward healing.
