I use dance therapy and drama therapy in all of my work. In each session we "move" instead of “sit” giving the individual the chance to express feelings and emotions though their body. My goals in therapy are to provide dance therapy, drama therapy, addiction counseling and verbal therapy to children, teens, adults and families to help them foster increased body awareness, sense of self and to experience emotional healing of trauma and daily struggles. Angela is currently accepting new referrals for individual, group and family counseling in the Greensboro, NC area.

During a Full Moon, the energy reaches its peak, amplifying whatever needs to be released. Old emotions rise to the surface, unresolved attachments loosen, and stagnant energy begins to clear.

It’s a time when the Universe seems to invite a full reset, an energetic cleansing that creates room for abundance to enter. What once drained or distracted starts to lose its grip, making space for clarity, renewal, and alignment.

This lunar phase carries the vibration of completion, turning endings into beginnings. When everything unnecessary falls away, life begins to move with greater ease, opening the path for prosperity to flow in.

The animated feature Flow didn’t just walk away with an Oscar—it sparked an unexpected social ripple. Its tale of a black cat navigating a ruined world hit audiences so strongly that shelters across the country began reporting a sudden rise in black cat adoptions. Historically, these animals have struggled to find homes because of superstition and bias, but the film’s resonance helped flip that narrative almost overnight.

One striking example came from Laredo, Texas, where the nonprofit Best Friends for Life hosted a screening with real rescue cats in attendance, turning a cinematic moment into an adoption drive. The wave of interest underscores how storytelling can shift deep-rooted cultural attitudes, proving that film can do more than entertain—it can rewrite the odds for those left behind.

"My students are OBSESSED with these little guys — they literally beg me to bring them out. 🐾

But here’s the catch: Quiet Critters only come out when the room is calm and focused.

✨ They “live” in a soundproof jar. Loud noises hurt their ears, but whispers are okay.
✨ They sit on desks to quietly “watch and learn.” Students can pat them, but if you play too rough… they get scared.
✨ If the noise level rises, the critter scoots to the edge of the desk as a warning. Stay loud? Back into the jar it goes!

At the end of the lesson, anyone who still has their Quiet Critter earns a reward — but honestly, most kids just want to keep their critter happy. 💕

And the BEST part? They’re so easy to make: pom-poms + googly eyes + felt/foam feet (mine are cut into little hearts). Hot glue and DONE.

Simple. Cute. And hands-down my favorite classroom management hack yet."
