🌱🤱 World Breastfeeding Week 2025

Breastfeeding doesn't happen in isolation—it takes a connected system of care. 💬👩‍⚕️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
This World Breastfeeding Week, we’re encouraging action: it’s time to link arms across communities, organizations, and support networks to build a stronger, more sustainable environment for families.

At WIC, we see every day how powerful it is when:
✅ Healthcare providers refer families early
✅ Workplaces offer space and time to pump
✅ Communities offer encouragement without judgment
✅ Local organizations work together to support families

🌍 When we connect the dots, we create a world where breastfeeding can thrive—benefiting babies, mothers, communities, and the planet.

Let’s galvanize our collective power:
➡️ Partner with local programs
➡️ Strengthen referral pathways
➡️ Host joint events or support groups
➡️ Share resources and lift each other up

✨ The more connected we are, the stronger our impact.

🤝 Ready to work together? Let’s build a breastfeeding-friendly future—together.

📍 Reach out to Forsyth County WIC to collaborate, partner, or get involved!

🤝💚 World Breastfeeding Week 2025

Breastfeeding is a team effort—and support makes all the difference. This World Breastfeeding Week, we’re calling on individuals, families, workplaces, health providers, and community partners to come together and support breastfeeding families.

At WIC, we believe that when we collaborate and connect, we create a stronger, more supportive environment where moms can feel confident, cared for, and empowered.

✨ Whether you’re a partner, a friend, a nurse, an employer, or a neighbor—you have a role to play.

Let’s build a network of care that lifts up families, shares knowledge, and works together to protect breastfeeding as a public health priority and a human right.

🗣️ How you can engage:
Share breastfeeding-friendly practices in your workplace 🏢
Connect new parents with WIC breastfeeding support 🤱
Join local breastfeeding coalitions or events
Simply listen, encourage, and show up 💬
Together, we can make sure no parent has to breastfeed alone. 💪

📞 Need support? Contact our local WIC office—we’re here for you and your family.
