Last night, Cancer Services hosted our 3rd Annual Gastrointestinal Cancer Survivorship Conference—and it was a wonderful success! We had a great turnout, an incredible panel of oncology experts sharing impactful information, and delicious food from Black Coffee & Cuisine. 😋
A big thank you to our dedicated volunteers who helped make the night run so smoothly—and for adding a little ☘️ St. Paddy’s Day fun along the way! We’re grateful for this amazing community and the opportunity to learn, connect, and support one another. 💙

💙 Today Cancer Services is wearing BLUE to raise awareness for colorectal cancer and to honor the individuals and families affected by this disease. 💙
Colorectal cancer is now the deadliest cancer in people under 50 — yet it’s also one of the most preventable cancers when caught early.
Here’s what many people don’t realize:
🔹 96% of people say they’d be more likely to get screened if they knew colorectal cancer is preventable.
🔹 But 52% of Americans don’t know that it is preventable.

We can change that. Early detection through screening saves lives. Prevention starts with awareness. Awareness starts with conversation.

Talk to your doctor. Know your risk. Get screened. And help us spread the word by sharing this post. 💙
