Halloween fun at Homestead Hills! 👻
Our Members had such an eventful week preparing for our favorite spooky holiday! We kicked off the week by painting Halloween-inspired door mats for their entryways. These turned out so adorable, and we loved watching them take their own creative routes. We then welcomed Matt Jones from UNCSA's School of Filmmaking to break down the evolution of Dracula's film adaptations through the decades. Members enjoyed Bloody Mary mocktails on this special day! On the day of Halloween, Members and team members came sporting their best costumes, and boy, were they fun to see! Our wellness team came dressed as a crew of skeletons, and Members got really creative with their designs. We then decorated our golf carts for our annual Halloween golf cart parade! 🍬 The fun didn’t end there, though, because when we returned to the community, we held our second annual costume contest. Winners took home first, second, and third-place trophies. 🏆 The delicious food, laughter, and spooky costumes made it the best Halloween night ever! As we wrap up the spooky season, we’d like to thank our programming teams for planning such exciting festive activities for our Members this past month. Stay tuned to see oh-what-fun we get into this holiday season!
