We aim to assist people with disabilities by offering an array of resources and cross-disability expertise in our service area of Forsyth, Stokes, Davie, Davidson, Surry, and Yadkin counties in NC. We want to simply encourage people to make good choices and exercise control over their own lives, to expand access to information and resources, to increase their independence, and to improve the quality of their lives. WE BELIEVE in consumer choice, consumer expertise, and community-based living. OUR JOB is to work with the consumer to identify and pursue goals that lead to greater independence. We use advocacy and public awareness to remove physical and attitudinal barriers throughout our service area.
