There are two more new faces around the office! Jordan and Tyler are joining us for their spring semester. They both will graduate in May and become new speech language pathologist! We are excited to have them learn from our therapist and get to know your families!

🕵️‍♀️💬 Do the detective work

If your child is a gestalt language processor, their messages may come from songs, shows, or familiar phrases. By watching what they watch and listening closely to how they use language, we can uncover what they’re really trying to say and respond with meaning and connection.

It may sound like just a jumble of sounds but that’s because gestalt language processors are listening to the whole chuck rather than the single words. If you listen closely, you can hear his intonation rise on “favorite pizza” just like in the clip.
