Shepherd's Hope is a faith-based nonprofit organization that provides free medical services to uninsured and underinsured Central Floridians, by encompassing all faiths and serving all faiths at five area health centers. Founded in 1997, more than 300,000 free patient visits and medical services have been provided thanks to partnerships with hospitals, faith groups, facilities, corporations and community partners. In 2019, Shepherd's Hope provided over 19,000 patient visits and medical services to the uninsured and underinsured in our community, thanks to the dedication of 3,000 volunteers. Shepherd’s Hope is registered with the State of Florida to solicit contributions . Official registration and financial information may be obtained from the division of consumer services by calling toll-free (800-435-7352) within the state. Registration does not imply endorsement, approval or recommendation by the state.
