Holiday meals are meant to be enjoyed, especially when surrounded by loved ones. If you live with a chronic condition like diabetes, hypertension, or heart disease, here are a few gentle tips:

• Eat smaller portions of rich foods
• Keep an eye on salt and sugar intake
• Stay hydrated
• Take medications on time
• Rest between gatherings

However you choose to celebrate, we hope you have a wonderful holiday season filled with love and joy.

This holiday season, we're giving them the gift of rest and time with loved ones. If you're in need of care during this time, please visit your local urgent care or emergency room.

We look forward to welcoming you soon and continuing to be here for anyone who needs access to free, compassionate healthcare in 2026!

When patients arrive at Shepherd’s Hope, many are facing serious health concerns and overwhelming uncertainty. Because of compassionate supporters like you, they are met with coordinated care, dignity, and hope instead of barriers and fear.

As part of our ongoing patient story series, we’re sharing two powerful journeys that show what access to care can make possible.

Give today to help ensure more neighbors receive answers, treatment, and hope, exactly when they need it most.
