Job Posting: Driver for Prestige Adult Day Training

Position: Driver

Location: Winter Haven, Florida
Type: Part-Time

About Us:
Prestige Enterprises Adult Day Training is dedicated to providing quality care and services for adults with developmental disabilities. We are seeking a reliable and compassionate driver to join our team and help ensure our clients have safe and timely transportation to and from our facility.

Responsibilities:
• Transport clients to and from the facility safely and on time.
• Assist clients in entering and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Provide a friendly and professional demeanor to clients and their families.

Qualifications:
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Ability to lift and assist clients if necessary.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday! No weekends or holidays

🌟 Our Trip to Tom’s Chicken Shack in Bartow, FL! 🌟

We had an amazing time visiting Tom’s Chicken Shack in Bartow, FL! 🍗❤️ If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out! This iconic spot has been serving up mouthwatering fried chicken since 1955! 🤩

The restaurant has a rich history that makes it even more special. It all started when Tom Keane opened the shack with a simple but powerful goal: to serve delicious, no-frills comfort food to the people of Bartow. Over the years, it’s become a local institution that still delivers that same hearty, homestyle meal that made it famous.

The crispy chicken, the tasty sides, and the welcoming vibe it’s no wonder why this place has stood the test of time. We got a chance to chat with some of the locals, and they all shared how much this spot means to them. 🐔💛

Last Friday we had an amazing time visiting Golden Ridge Groves, and one of the highlights of the day was getting out into the fields for strawberry picking! 🍓🌞

Golden Ridge Groves is rooted in Florida’s rich agricultural history. Citrus farming in the state dates back to the 1800s and has long been a foundation of Florida agriculture, thanks to the ideal climate and generations of hardworking growers. Alongside citrus, strawberries have become another important crop in Florida, with commercial strawberry farming taking off in the early 1900s. Today, Florida is one of the nation’s top producers, especially during the winter months.

Walking through the fields and picking fresh strawberries was a hands-on reminder of where our food comes from and the care it takes to grow it. From the citrus groves to the strawberry rows, the experience highlighted the dedication, tradition, and innovation that farms like Golden Ridge Groves bring to agriculture today.

A big thank you to everyone at Golden Ridge Groves for welcoming us and sharing their knowledge. It was a fun, educational, and memorable day one we won’t forget! 🍓🍊💛
