Since 1977 Dr. Newberry and his staff have been helping people from Polk County treat their back pain, neck pain and headaches without drugs or surgery. Dr. Newberry received his doctor of chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. That same year Dr. Newberry passed all State, Federal and local requirements necessary to open the Newberry Clinic in Winter Haven, Florida. Since that time the clinic has grown to employ associate doctors, x-ray tech, and a therapy assistant, and massage therapist, certified personal trainers and 4 business/clerical staff. Dr. Newberry strives to have the latest technology available for his patients including: digital x-ray, spinal decompression, flexion distraction; Zenith Hi-lo adjusting tables; interferential muscle stimulation; ultrasound; Game-Ready vaso-pneumatic compression; intersegmental traction; dry-hydro therapy; FDA Cleared Low Level Laser; diathermy; Zerona Fat Loss Laser; full feature exercise and rehabilitation equipment.

Good morning, Polk County!

The Newberry Clinic is starting the season of giving a little early and we are inviting you to join us in supporting a great cause. We are a collection center for PEANUT BUTTER!!!

The Polk County Sheriff's Office has joined University of Florida, FAMU, Florida Peanut Producers and Florida Peanut Federation and Polk County in this most awesome effort to fight hunger here in Polk County. That's right, all contributions are donated back to beautiful Polk County. Yahoo!!!

Drop by and drop off a couple jars of peanut butter. Why peanut butter? It is a compact easy storage, long shelf-life source of protein.

Last year's total for the Sherrif's department was 977 jars equally about 1480 pounds of peanut butter. Don't hesitate. Put down your PB&J and bring your unopened jars of peanut butter here or the Sheriff's department The end date for this drive is October 31st which is coming here soon!

Hello everyone...my name is Dr. Charon and I am glad to be here at the Newberry Clinic!

I'm Polk County native born and raised, originally from Lakeland, Florida. I graduated from Lake Gibson High School and went on to attend Keiser University on a track and field scholarship, where I competed in the decathlon and became the 2021 Sun Conference Champion. After earning my bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, I continued my education at Palmer College of Chiropractic, graduating just over a year ago.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife and our one-year-old twins, often exploring local parks and enjoying the Florida outdoors. I'm also a passionate car enthusiast and enjoy spending time at the range as a fi****ms hobbyist.

I look forward in seeing you all soon!

As I reach the 48th year in practice here in Winter Haven, I am profoundly grateful to this community. Upon graduating Palmer in 1977, I had choices of where to start practice. My uncle settled in Winter Haven in the 50's, and I was born in Opalocka. A true Florida born child. But my parents thought it best to move to Illinois where my grand and great, great grandparents settled in farming communities across the mid-west.
My mother dragged the family here to visit her brother every Thanksgiving, Christmas, July 4th, and summer break. We burned up Rt 41 and Rt 27 many times a year.
I fell in love with this community and the wonderful people in it. I saw the transition from sandy dirt roads to all roads paved in Polk County. I enjoyed the small town feel while only being an hour or two from the Gulf or Atlantic. Therefore, I chose to forego the big city glitter and glitz and start my practice here. I married a local girl and raised my children here. I never looked back and never regretted it.
Once again, Thank You, Patients and Winter Haven for such an honor.
