Supportive Counseling, LLC is proud to support Harbor House of Central Florida at the 15th Annual Paws for Peace Walk & Run—a meaningful community event raising funds to help survivors of domestic violence and their pets find safety together. This year’s celebration is themed “Yappy Birthday,” honoring 15 years of community support.

At Supportive Counseling, LLC, we know survivors may delay leaving unsafe situations out of concern for their pets. That is why events like this matter so deeply. As a proud member of the Harbor House Young Professionals Board, we are honored to walk alongside advocates, animal lovers, and community members who believe safety should include every member of the family.

At Supportive Counseling, LLC, we believe in giving back to the mental health field in meaningful ways.

Jessica recently completed the Qualified Supervisor Training through FMHCA, a professional development experience that prepares clinicians to support and supervise therapists-in-training as they work toward licensure in Florida. The training focused on supervision models, ethical and legal considerations, feedback, and building collaborative supervisory relationships that promote growth.

This milestone is especially meaningful because it reflects a commitment not only to clinical excellence, but also to mentorship. Supporting future healers as they develop their skills, confidence, and professional identity is one way we can help strengthen the counseling profession for years to come.

There is something powerful about pouring into the next generation of clinicians. Through quality supervision, guidance, and encouragement, we can help emerging therapists feel more supported as they prepare to serve others.

Thank you to Florida Mental Health Counselors Association (FMHCA) and Logan Bell for a valuable and enriching training.

We had a wonderful evening connecting with colleagues at the Creative Connections Series: Breathe & Restore event hosted by the Mental Health Counselors of Central Florida and held in partnership with Totally Psyched.

This gathering provided mental health professionals an opportunity to pause, recharge, and build meaningful connections outside of the therapy room. Spending time in the salt room and sauna while sharing conversation with fellow clinicians created a relaxed environment that reminded us how important community and support are within our profession.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening such a meaningful experience. We look forward to many more opportunities to connect throughout the year. 💚
