As we wrap up 2025, we’re pausing to reflect with deep gratitude. 🤍

This year at Supportive Counseling, LLC, our work was shaped by courage, consistency, and the quiet, powerful moments of healing that happen one session at a time.

2025 By the Numbers
• 681 therapy sessions supporting women in Florida and Colorado
• 207 sessions provided supporting domestic violence survivors
• 19 trauma survivor group sessions launched this year (and we’re looking forward to expanding groups in 2026)
• 83 outreach, advocacy, and networking events through community leadership, trainings, presentations, and collaboration

And equally important: we also honored rest. We took intentional days away from the office to celebrate holidays, practice self-care, and recharge through travel, because sustainable healing requires sustainable support.

To our clients, community partners, colleagues, friends, and family: thank you for being part of this journey. Your trust, encouragement, and shared commitment to healing made 2025 meaningful.

We’re stepping into 2026 with hope and purpose, continuing our mission to provide safe, confidential, evidence-based support for women navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for staying connected. And thank you for being part of this impactful journey. 💚

✨Today, we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s enduring legacy, recognizing that our shared well-being depends on creating a world where justice, equality, and compassion prevail. At Supportive Counseling, LLC, we believe that mental health flourishes in a society where every voice is valued, every story is heard, and every person feels safe, supported, and respected. ✨

As we reflect on Dr. King’s wisdom—“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere”—we’re reminded of the importance of standing together against systemic barriers, discrimination, and inequality. By fostering empathy, understanding, and healing, we help women across Florida and Colorado cultivate resilience, reclaim their voices, and thrive in environments rooted in fairness and acceptance. 🤝💛

Today and every day, let’s honor Dr. King’s call to action by nurturing a more just, compassionate community—one where everyone can find hope, healing, and the strength to move forward. 🕊

We’re grateful to have spent time in community at the MHCCF New Year’s Breakfast: From Burnout to Balance, hosted by the Mental Health Counselors of Central Florida. It was a meaningful morning focused on connection, sustainability, and supporting clinicians in the work they do every day.

We’re also proud to share that our founder, Jessica Straughn, is now serving as Vice President of the MHCCF Board for 2026.

In 2025, Jessica served as Social & Special Events Chair, where she launched the Creative Connection Series—an initiative centered on building authentic connection and community among mental health professionals. We’re excited to see this series continue in 2026 alongside many new plans and opportunities through MHCCF.

At Supportive Counseling, LLC., we believe that supporting clinicians strengthens the care provided to our communities. We’re honored to remain actively engaged in leadership, advocacy, and collaboration within the counseling profession. 💚

☕✨ Reflecting on an inspiring morning with our MHCCF community! ✨🥞

We had such a wonderful time at the Mental Health Counselors of Central Florida (MHCCF) End-of-Year Breakfast—celebrating a year of connection, collaboration, and collective growth in our field.

As MHCCF’s Social & Special Events Chair, I was honored to see the Creative Connections series' success grow this year. What started as a vision to bring mental health professionals together for wellness and creativity has grown into a meaningful community of connection. 💙

Grateful for the MHCCF Board, members, and all who made this year possible—and looking forward to continuing the mission of supporting, connecting, and empowering Central Florida’s counseling community in 2026!
