Selling a business is never easy. Just ask Mark Krause who sold Milwaukee-based Krause Funeral Homes & Cremation Service to Foundation Partners Group in 2022. Three years later, Mark is living his best life and grateful that his business and his team are in good hands.

In a recent study commissioned by Afterall, we found that while over 90% of Americans recognize the importance of having end-of-life planning conversations with their loved ones, nearly half have yet to start the conversation.
We believe that proactive conversations about end-of-life wishes with parents, spouses and significant others are essential for ensuring peace of mind for families. It's never too early to have a candid discussion about these sensitive topics, and it's never too late to start planning.
We encourage families to take the time to have these important conversations and ensure that their loved ones' wishes are understood, documented and respected when the time comes.
