The next National Pediatric Readiness Project (NPRP) Nationwide Assessment is launching in March 2026, offering ED clinicians a vital opportunity to evaluate and enhance their ED’s pediatric capabilities. The updated assessment will reflect new joint guidelines–representing the latest evidence and literature–aimed for publication this winter. The Florida Emergency Medicine Foundation (FEMF), doing business as the Emergency Medicine Learning & Resource Center (EMLRC), prepares Florida and the nation for emergencies and disasters by educating and training emergency care providers. Founded in 1990 by the Florida College of Emergency Physicians (FCEP), FEMF/EMLRC serves the entire continuum of emergency medical providers, ranging from EMTs and paramedics to nurses, advanced practice providers and physicians.
