Some of our favorite activities in El Talón have been our English workshops with the children. In this video, Mary B Espinosa Pastrana from the University of San Buenaventura in Cartagena was in charge of directing a fun English workshop! We had a blast participating with children that we have seen grow over the years. We are currently raising funds for our 2019 goals as well! During any Beyond the Wall event, our goal is assist the residents of El Talon and to also promote the vibrant and diverse culture of Colombia. "Champeta" is a musical genre with origins from Cartagena and its surrounding communities. The residents of El Talon are huge fans of this music and we will always be there to cherish it!
