🏞️⛳ Baby Moon Adventures in Highlands/Sapphire Valley, NC! 🏔️✨ The wife and I escaped to the mountains to scope out if this could be our spot, and wow, what a trip! 😍 From quaint charm to epic views, this place delivered!
Kicked things off with a round at Burlingame Country Club—that multi-story par 3 was a bucket-list moment! 🏌️‍♂️ Shot bogey golf with some close calls for birdie, an eagle, and a few pars (those speedy greens and 3-putts got me, though! 😅). Huge shoutout to Doug at TCC for hooking me up since the local public course was closed. 🙌
We soaked in the serenity of Lake Toxaway, dined like royalty at Grand Ole Station and Oaks Steakhouse, and strolled through the adorable Highlands. Fun fact: this tiny town of 1,500 swells to 15,000 in the summer! 🤯 Oh, and five country clubs in the area? Talk about mountain luxury!
