Hello and good morning. I just wanted to tell you that I found your recovery program while I was in jail last year, and how much it helped lay a spiritual foundation for my recovery. I didn't get to work the workbook , or even finish the 40 videos, but I now get to live free from the bo***ge of myself and my addiction. So really this email is just to say thank you, for sharing your experience, strength, and hope. It has helped me tremendously.

Would you pause and say a prayer for Worth, one of the incarcerated members of our life addiction recovery program? Worth is an inmate who’s leading a life chapter inside a prison. Here’s a message I received from Worth today:

Brother Mike, its good to hear from you! How's life treating you? I had one of the guys I've been working with declare he is trans. I was there at his baptism. He was on fire, leading Bible studies, praying, and in the Word everyday. Seemed to have a real relationship with Jesus but now he has turned from all that. I've done everything I know to do. He was a good leader and had so much potential in the service of God's Kingdom. It makes me so sad that he has turned from away from Jesus. Me and the other brothers here are praying for him. Any advice?
I'm starting the L.I.F.E. Ministries group the first Thursday of April at 7pm! I'm so excited! I been going through the workbook chapter by chapter every morning before I go to work. It has almost become like a daily devotional for me! I'm so thankful you are letting us use your material! Thank you for your prayers! God is doing mighty things here and we need all the prayer we can get!

God continues to amaze us at LIFE Ministries as He opens doors and enlarges our territory. Now that our curriculum appears on over 3 million tablets of those incarcerated we continue to receive mail from those inside who are working through the lessons. Victorious Living Min has been such a blessing as we have partnered in ministry in this area to reach more together! Here is is a letter we received today from "Kernish", who is incarcerated in Ohio. Would you pray for her and others like her, who are incarcerated but also are experiencing God's grace and mercy? Many are coming to know Christ through LIFE Ministries and Victorious Living Min. Thank-you for your support as we continue to serve those inside!

We are so blessed and humbled to have the opportunity to enter into the local detention centers and prisons to directly minister to our incarcerated family. What a blessing to see so many lives transformed by the Holy Spirit. I was greeted this morning with the wonderful email below. Jay's letter goes on to express his desire to start a LIFE chapter in his local church. I will call Jay later today, as he is in California and three hours behind EST. I want to thank everyone who has a part in LIFE Ministries, whether it is as a financial supporter, a volunteer, or a prayer partner. THANK-YOU for holding up our hands that we might continue to reach those behind bars with the life saving Gospel of Jesus Christ. In Christ's love, Mike Dixon

Dear Pastor Dixon,

Greetings and blessings to you and your family Pastor! My name is Jason Mott, and we last spoke just about a year ago. I am sure that you probably don't remember me specifically as I know that you meet and talk with many people. I reached out to you via the info@lifeaddictionrecovery.com address and had requested the videos for the program so that I could complete the full curriculum with the workbook. I had just been released from incarceration on a pre-trial basis and had started your addiction recovery program while in jail. I didn't get to complete the whole 40 weeks, and was very inspired and excited to get back through it fully with all of the appropriate materials. I want to thank you for putting this program together, it has really changed my life. I have gone through the videos multiple times to keep myself centered and have completed the full work in the work book. As I have progressed, I have felt changes in how I interact with my family, and others. Most importantly, my walk with Christ is so much more focused. I find myself reading God's word more and with such a greater understanding and depth than ever before. I have been sober now for 22 months now, and I feel amazing!! I just really cannot say thank you enough for allowing God to work through you in such a powerful way!

Tonight we celebrated our 22nd of 40 sessions in our L.I.F.E. Ministries classes. You are still welcome to join us every Monday evening from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.

You can join us in week 23, because when we finish week 40 we will start over again, and you can go up to your starting point. Yes, you can keep on coming just like several in this group are doing.

If you are struggling with an addiction, lets battle it together through the strength, love, and grace of Jesus the Christ.

We just received this message from Worth, an inmate peer support specialist. Worth teaches classes inside the prison system as an inmate. We recently submitted the life curriculum to the South Carolina department of justice for their peer support specialists to use in teaching the inmates our faith based recovery program. We continually see so much fruit from our ministry to our incarcerated students. Thank you for your support and prayers for life ministries.

I just want too think you again for the Life Ministries material! I just got it on our computer in the dorm and Nikki is bringing that paper copies on her next visit here. She is supposed to send you the application paperwork for you to be able to come talk to us. She is a super busy person like yourself so you may want to follow up with her about it. I'm going to be starting the life ministries group here in the dorm in march at the beginning of the next quarter. We are using Casting down idols this quarter. I started to go ahead and begin LIFE but Im teaching 8 classes this quarter plus working 40 hours a week in the wood floor plant and doing one on ones ministry and clerk work on all 50+ of the classes we he here in the sober living program add that legal work and don't know how I do it lol! I'm so excited to start the LIFE group here! We just started a group called We've been called to preach & it is going so good! Me and others who feel the calling to preach take turns preaching in the unit on Sunday at 9am and then we give the one preaching feedback on delivery, content, context. God just blower it up when others started coming just to hear the Word! It turned in to Church lol! God is so good at using the things we plan in bigger ways then we imagine! I can't wait till its my turn! Everybody going to be awake in the whole building when I take my seat belt off! I don't need any microphone! Lol! I love me some Jesus! How are u doing brother? SNOW DAYS!
