What an awesome Thanksgiving celebration last night at the LIFE chapter that meets at First Missionary Baptist Church in Lagrange, North Carolina. It was a blessing to be present and to share with the group about the grace and goodness of God in my own life. Transformation is possible and available through faith in Christ. The world says once an addict always an addict, but God says you can become a new creation and old things are passed away. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

Would you say a prayer for Anthony, one of our incarcerated life ministry students?

Ah! The story of Joseph... There is so much that can be learned from that story. Joseph certainly gave us a great example, didn't he? An amazing point that you brought out is that we have to learn to forgive ourselves. Sometimes, that is very hard. It is really easy to expect perfection from ourselves. But being human, we often fall short of perfection. Thank you for another wonderful lesson.
You brought out that you had a speech impediment. Again, I can relate. I remember getting to the point that I did some self-talk. I told myself that I could overcome it if I would just slow down. And guess what. It worked. Sometimes, we need to listen to ourselves as well as to others. Thanks for all you do, Brother.
