RA Home: New Roots is currently accepting applications for individuals seeking a peer-supported recovery residence.
Recovery Alive Homes are non-clinical, peer-run residences. We do not provide medical, clinical, or transitional housing services. Residents live independently while supporting one another in recovery.

Individuals seeking clinical treatment, transitional housing, or other levels of care may contact us for referral information to appropriate resources.

At this time, we are not moving forward with a community gathering for Ribbon Cutting at RA Home: New Roots. This update does not impact the home or the application process.

Our purpose remains to provide safe, stable residential housing for individuals in recovery.

I am looking forward to sharing with the Winterville LIFE Chapter this Monday night, December 29th, beginning at 6:30. We will first enjoy a delicious meal from Sam Jones Barbeque followed with a message from Matthew 2:1-12. What can the wisemen teach us about addiction recovery?

Come join us at Winterville Baptist Church, 2593 Church Street, Winterville, N.C. Meal begins at 6:30., Group study begins at 7PM. Let's finish up this year together and look forward to the New Year with hearts full of anticipation and the hope that Christ brings into our lives. We do recover. Healing is available.

This is an example of how the LIFE curriculum is making a difference inside our prisons. Thank-you for your support!

Hi Pastor Mike, my name is Sal Servin, inmate number ###xx here at Pima County Jail in Tucson AZ, serving a DUI charge. I just wanted to reach out and thank you for blessing me with the L.I.F.E. Addiction Recovery lesson. I have struggled with alcohol all my life. I never thought of it as an idol but thanks to your lesson plan and ministry I now see my addiction as an idol that I've worshipped for many years. My idol has landed me in jail several times, broken two marriages, helped me lose three jobs, and caused much pain to family and friends. All things that I am not proud of. The enemy has definitely sought to kill and destroy me. But thanks be to the God of "Another Chance"! I'm thankful that Jesus has never left me or forsaken me, and I'm looking forward to see how God uses my mess (testimony) for His Glory. He is and has corrected me (Revelation 3:19) and I'm thankful for that, but the discipline process does hurt and very uncomfortable. Please pray for me. I'm about a quarter of the way through the Addiction Recovery lesson plan. Its been a blessing to me throughout the day. I see that it is available on Amazon so I will order the workbook once I am released, hopefully January 2026. I'm working through the lessons on a tablet in jail as the workbooks are not provided. Thanks again for your ministry and for helping people like me with addiction(s).

I received an email today from Martin. Martin was incarcerated and went through the LIFE curriculum. He’s now been released. This is why we do what we do in ministry to those inside.

“So I was in Madera county jail my mom died 2 days after I got I was slamming m**h for 5 strait years every day I've been in and out of jail for40 years over 20 years in prison sitting in Madera jail contemplating su***de was about to end it once and for all and God stepped in and saved me and actually showed his self to me and made sure that I knew he was real mind youI have never wanted to hear about god or anything like that.I always thought I knew what I was doing.I had no clue since I surrendered my life to him. Everything has changed. Why I was still in there? I took your 40 hour course and completed it. And I thank you so much, because you made me understand a whole lot.
Know this I have spread your name amongst people out here on the street. You are a very important person in recovery. I want you to know that. So again, thank you so much, mike.Hopefully, someday I'll get to meet you,”

Free dinner and then LIFE's founder and Director Mike Dixon will be sharing his testimony. You don’t want to miss it! He’s got an amazing story of what Jesus can do! Come join us!
