We have an incredible community of non-profits and volunteers working to make our valley healty, beautiful, safe and cared for. We are truly better together! I think of all the ways many of these agencies support Jamie's Place;
Of course, with out The Cove, there would be no Jamie's Place! Glenn Schmekel and The Cove made Jamie's Place a reality for our community!
Aero Methow Rescue Service comes when we call to skillfully give emergency care to our Elders. We are also partners in the Methow Valley Eldercare Coodination Network working to provide more comprehensive care to seniors in the valley.
Methow at Home volunteers bring friendship, creativity and support to our Elders with The Creative Aging Program, Guardian Angels and volunteer services. We are also partners in the Methow Valley Eldercare Coodination Network working to provide more comprehensive care to seniors in the valley.
Room One supports our staff and our Elders and their families with social service needs. We are also partners in the Methow Valley Eldercare Coodination Network working to provide more comprehensive care to seniors in the valley.
Little Star brings laughter and joy with their smiles and giggles when they visit.
Friends of The Winthrop Public Library brings the joy of reading and connection with book deliveries.
Winthrop Kiwanis Club has directly supported Jamie's Place with needed projects and volunteer support.
Methow Arts is supporting our expansion to Twisp by helping incorporate art into the new Jamie's Place site.
The Confluence Twisp is also collaborating with Jamie's Place and Methow Arts to incorporate art at the new Jamie's Place. They are also collborators in the Creative Aging program that supports the Elders at Jamie's Palce.
We work directly with The Methow Housing Trust on providing solutions for housing insecurity for seniors and our communites work force.
Methow Valley Public Schools and all the ways they are supported through Public School Funding Alliance and Methow Valley Education Foundation allow us to collaborate with the district on health careers and training for our high school students.
Both The Merc and Cascadia Music have made arts and entertainment more accessible to the Elders at Jamie's Place.
The lives of Jamie's Place Elders, families and staff are all enriched by the work of these non-profits (I may be forgetting some--please forgive me!). The lives of our community are enriched by these non profits!
We are better together! Please support your wonderful and hardworking non profits so they can continue to do the valuable work they do for our community!
And of course, The Community Foundation of NCW that helps to make all this possible for North West Central Washington communities ! WOW!
