Being resilient is more than just surviving the storm; it is being empowered by the strength of surviving, the knowledge of self you gain and the courage and wisdom to love and trust yourself and others again.
Unlearning thought patterns and beliefs caused by childhood trauma and early domestic partner abuse were difficult. They sometimes still rear their ugly head.
I have had a lifetime of trauma and lifetime of building a system that allows me to recover quickly and recognize old thought patterns, triggers, and mindsets.
