Winthrop Fitness Center is one place in the world that really DOES have something for everybody. Whether you are an elite athlete, on the mend from injury, looking to improve your cardiovascular health or just want to get and stay fit, Winthrop Fitness offers the two most important ingredients in a fitness program: state-of-the-art equipment and a superior staff to help you reach your fitness goals. Winthrop Fitness is equipped with a full line of Icarian strength machines that provide smooth, simple movements to help build and maintain strength. For aerobic fitness we have spin bikes, ellipticals, treadmills, rowing machines and recumbent bikes. Our balance balls, weighted medicine balls, kettle bells and free weights provide greater variety and an added measure of fun to your program. If you're just getting started with a fitness program, our Personal Trainers are available to help you set goals and show you how to begin. If you are more advanced in your fitness, we can find plenty of ways to keep you challenged and coming back for more!
