Yesterday was the full day Osteoporosis Workshop in Westford MA. It was a special day with a group of wonderful women. Such a gift to be able to share my experience and knowledge with these amazing women. Feeling blessed.

I am back from Spain. All classes resume this with the exception of Friday, due to the Retreat. Looking forward to seeing everyone and meeting some new students.

Women have been asking me to tell more about the full day Osteoporosis workshop. The workshop focuses on empowering women to make informed decisions. I am not in the business of telling anyone what they should do. We address the What of Osteoporosis and understanding the diagnosis. The why of OP: Testing, causes and getting clarity on each persons unique situation. We look at options for improving bone health including nutrition, absorption, supplementation, weight bearing, exercise and more. We have a bone healthy lunch and snacks. Of course we practice OP yoga and there is a lot of discussion and support. The yoga is just one hour of the 8 hour workshop. I hope that answers some questions. My Osteoporosis Yoga classes focus on building bone while protecting our joints through weight bearing and resistance in postures. This is great, but it's' only one part of the package toward bone health.
The Worshops and/or retreats provide the rest of the package; education about causes, testing, correct diagnosis, supplementation, nutrition, and so much more. I want women to know all this information, which is why I offer such opportunities.

All proceeds from teaching today will be donated to Maine Needs! To cancel classes WouId only deprive my students. The money will go to help those who need it in Portland.
