For those of you that don’t know I am in the dental field. Ever since Covid came out we have been ranked with the top three most dangerous jobs in the world at the moment due to Covid.
I personally feel like the dental field and dental professions are forgotten about during this pandemic. I constantly see posts about the nurses and the doctors and the hospitals(which of course thank you for what you do and being on the front lines for all of us) but what about the dentists, the dental assistants, and the hygienists?
We work IN people’s mouth’s. During this hard time please show appreciation to your dentist and the dental staff, we too step into the danger zone every morning to make sure our patients are satisfied and pain free.
We work long, stressful hours behind masks, gowns and gloves, spraying cavicide on everything touched in hopes we are going home safely to our kids and families. Please add us to your list of professions to pray for during this time.
In case no ones told you THANK YOU to every single dentist, dental assistant, hygienist, any dental professional who will be waking up every morning, gloving up and doing what they do best. You are appreciated!

We are starting to call all of our patients who's appointments were cancelled in March, April and May. If you want to call us, that is fine too.

05/27/2020

We are happy to announce we resumed dental appointments that were paused due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Services resumed on Tuesday, May 26. This includes regular visits for exams, cleanings, and x-rays. If you need to make an appointment, please give us a call or you can make your appointment with us online. If you already have an appointment, you will receive a confirmation message.

As we resume operations, our top priority is the health and safety of our patients and employees. We are committed to providing a safe environment for you. We continue to apply infection control practices that have always been in place in our office and we have implemented new infection control and treatment guidance to further improve the environment for patients and employees.

Prior to your appointment, we will send you a link to complete a short online pre-appointment screening. If you are able to, please print your results and bring them with you to your appointment. Also, to help limit the number of patients in our waiting area and increase social distancing, we ask that only the scheduled patient come into our office. Please avoid bringing family members. However, if one of your children has an appointment, you will have the option to come into the office.

When you arrive at our office, please call us and we will provide you with further instructions. Please wear a face mask while in our office.

Additionally, if you or anyone in your household has had contact with anyone confirmed positive for COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to your appointment, we may need to reschedule your appointment to a later date.

Dear Patient,
Our top priority is the health and safety of our patients and employees. We are committed to reducing the risk of spreading COVID-19 through social distancing and in helping ensure our Nation's frontline healthcare professionals have access to the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) they need.
We previously announced we are temporarily delaying all non-emergency dental appointments during the COVID-19 outbreak. This includes delaying regular visits for exams, cleanings, and x-rays.
At this time, we don't anticipate resuming non-emergency appointments prior to April 13th. We are aware that some states or communities may have restrictions that could push this to a later date. We will provide an update as local situations continue to change.
If you have an existing appointment between now and when we resume all appointments, we'll call you and help you reschedule.
If you are experiencing any of the following dental emergencies, please call us and follow the instructions provided, and we will assist you with your care.

DENTAL EMERGENCIES

Bleeding that doesn't stop

Pain in a tooth, teeth or jaw bone

Broken or knocked out tooth

Painful swelling in or around your mouth

Gum infection with pain or swelling

After surgery treatment (dressing change, stitch removal)

Denture adjustment for people receiving radiation or other treatment for cancer

Biopsy of abnormal tissue

These extraordinary times have affected us all. Your health is extremely important to us and we look forward to the opportunity to care for you in the near future.
Thank you.
