Since 1954, South Central Health has proven itself to be a healthcare leader in South Central North Dakota. Founded from a recognized need to provide medical services for residents of the area, SCH has grown to be a 24-bed Critical Access Hospital with Clinics located in Wishek, Napoleon, Kulm and Gackle. We are a local nonprofit association, and our employees have a greater dedication to your well-being because they live, work and play right here. Our patients are our families, friends and neighbors, and our slogan, "Quality Care with Concern and Compassion" has always been driven by the notion that they will be treated with the utmost respect and privacy. South Central Health is partnering with Shared Medical Services to bring MRI services to our facility using the GE Signa Voyager Scanner! Starting next month, patients will have convenient access to the latest technology in mobile MRI imaging, right here at South Central Health!

March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month 💙

Today, South Central Health staff wore blue to stand together in support of colon cancer prevention and early detection. Colon cancer is one of the most preventable cancers when screening happens on time. By raising awareness, encouraging conversations, and supporting one another, we can help save lives.

If you're 45 or older—or have a family history—talk to your healthcare provider about screening options. A simple screening can make a life-saving difference. Colonoscopies can be completed right here locally in Wishek, making screening convenient and close to home.

Join us in spreading the word this March. Wear blue, start the conversation, and encourage the people you love to get screened. 💙
