In October, our Chief Medical Officer, Barry Gendron, DO, MBA, CPE, was awarded the New Hampshire Hospital Association Medical Staff Award at this year's NHHA Annual Meeting! Dr. Gendron was the recipient of the award for outstanding service to his hospital and community.

Huggins Hospital Chief Medical Officer recognized with Medical Staff Award
WOLFEBORO — Huggins Hospital’s Chief Medical Officer, Barry Gendron, DO, MBA, CPE, was recently recognized by the New Hampshire Hospital Association (NHHA) with the 2025 Medical Staff Award. Dr. Gendron was chosen from a group of nominees across the state of New Hampshire. Dr. Gendron was the recipient of the award for outstanding service to his hospital and community.
The NHHA’s Medical Staff Award is an honor bestowed upon a medical staff member whose professional performance has strengthened the cooperation between the hospital and medical staff and who brings credit to the institution and the community. According to the NHHA’s award dedication, Dr. Gendron has been the embodiment of excellence in healthcare leadership. He has redefined collaboration in the healthcare setting, creating an environment with no divide, only shared commitment. He champions the voices of nurses, physicians and all caregivers, fostering an environment rooted in mutual respect and accountability. His ability to unite teams toward a common goal is inspiring. And while his dedication to supporting staff is unwavering, Dr. Gendron brings the same level of commitment to delivering exceptional care to patients at Huggins Hospital.
