We watched our friend Denise whip up her famous pizzelles-super-thin, crispy Italian cookies that melt in your mouth. From batter to iron press, she let us in on every step; then we tried vanilla, anise, chocolate, chocolate-chip and lemon. All delicious!

We studied Batoni’s “Allegory of Peace and War” with Yvette, talked symbolism and 18th-century drama… then painted Peace and War as AI imagines them today.
