“I have had major depression and anxiety for over 25 years and have been on countless antidepressants and mood stabilizers and been admitted to a handful of psychiatric hospitals over the last ten years. I was looking for relief in a lot of different avenues, but nothing seemed to help and I was losing hope that things would ever get better as I started experiencing more long term side effects from one medication I had been on on.
Over the next few months, the receptionists, Dana and Emily, were very patient with me and went over the plans and costs more than once. Dr. Kayla Ryan was forbearing and answered all questions my family had about the intensive. I finally decided to go forward with it. This past week was my intensive and I can’t tell you how glad and thankful I am that I chose to come and got the opportunity to experience such quality care. Everyone on staff were kind and helpful and Dr. Kayla and my therapist, Amber, were very knowledgeable and kind answering all my questions and listening to me and treating me with a great amount of dignity and respect that I hadn’t receives at other hospitals and clinics. I saw some improvement with my cognitive skills, but the biggest improvement was with my symptoms like brain fog, fatigue and dizziness.
When I was seen for my initial appointment my symptom score was 66 and after my intensive, it was a 0! I found a major shift in my mental clarity and mood on the first day and was able to build on that the next three days. I have been smiling more this week and am more confident about being able to have a happier, healthier future. I am very grateful to the NWI for helping me achieve far more than I thought possible and encourage anyone who is on the fence about coming, to take the time and invest in yourself and your health let the staff at NWI help you become the best version of yourself.”
