BIG NEWS! We're projecting cherry blossom Peak Bloom to arrive between March 29 – April 1 this year.
🌸🌸🌸
Peak Bloom is defined as the period of time when 70% of the Yoshino cherry blossoms - the most common variety - are open, creating gorgeous clouds of white and pink flowers floating around the Tidal Basin. Peak Bloom varies annually depending on weather conditions and usually occurs during the last week of March or the first week of April. Extraordinary warm or cool temperatures have resulted in peak bloom as early as March 15 (1990) and as late as April 18 (1958). The Yoshino trees typically bloom for only several days, making a short-lived scene of splendor that is one of Washington, D.C.'s most anticipated events.

Set your alarms early TOMORROW morning, March 3! ⏰🌕

A total lunar eclipse aka a “Blood Moon” is happening early Tuesday morning, March 3 and it’s a good one.

For most of us across the U.S., the lunar show starts before sunrise with peak totality around the middle of the hour depending on your time zone. During peak, the Moon turns that deep copper red as Earth’s shadow completely covers it.

No telescope needed. Just step outside, look up, and give your eyes a minute to adjust. Clouds permitting, this one will be hard to miss! Drop me your pictures if you catch it!

Blood Moon
March 3, 2026

A Blood Moon is confrontation.

When the Moon slips fully into Earth’s shadow, she doesn’t disappear, she transforms. Sunlight filters through the atmosphere, stripping away blue, leaving only embers. What we see is the color of endings. Of iron. Of truth.

For nearly an hour, she will hang overhead in deep crimson suspended in the umbra. Not gone. Not broken.

Revealed.

Eclipses have always carried a reputation for disruption because they illuminate what we’ve avoided. Lunar eclipses especially rule emotional truth, subconscious patterns, hidden attachments.

Under a Blood Moon:
• Illusions crack.
• Secrets surface.
• Cycles complete.
• Bonds either deepen or sever.

This is not a manifestation moon.
This is a reckoning moon.

The alignment of Sun, Earth, and Moon creates tension and tension creates clarity. What has been quietly decaying in your life will feel louder. What is misaligned will feel heavier. What is real will remain standing.

And witches know:

Shadow is not the enemy.
Denial is.

You don’t need elaborate ritual.
But you do need honesty.

Stand under it.
Ask yourself what is ending.
Notice what feels unstable.
Pay attention to what suddenly becomes undeniable.

Because eclipses don’t remove things randomly.

They remove what has already expired.

And when the Moon returns to silver…
you won’t be the same version who stepped outside.

🚨 Skywatchers, set your alarms! 🌙
Early Tuesday morning, March 3, a stunning Total Lunar Eclipse will paint the Moon a deep copper-red across the United States.

During totality, Earth moves directly between the Sun and the Moon, casting its shadow and filtering sunlight in a way that gives the Moon that dramatic “Blood Moon” glow. No special equipment needed just your eyes and clear skies.

🌅 Bonus for the East Coast: Just before sunrise, some areas may catch a rare Selenelion when the rising Sun and the eclipsed Moon appear above the horizon at the same time. It’s a brief and beautiful illusion caused by Earth’s atmosphere bending the light.

⏰ Check your local time zone for peak viewing in the early morning hours, and plan to be outside at least 15–20 minutes early so your eyes can adjust.

Don’t miss it moments like this turn an ordinary morning into something unforgettable. 🌌

Get ready for a breathtaking celestial show! The night sky will soon gift us two beautiful lunar events — the mysterious Blood Moon and the graceful Pink Moon.

A Blood Moon happens during a total lunar eclipse, when the Earth moves directly between the Sun and the Moon. Instead of disappearing, the Moon turns a deep reddish-orange color. This happens because Earth’s atmosphere scatters shorter blue light and bends the red light toward the Moon — creating that dramatic “blood” glow. 🌑🔥

The Pink Moon, despite its name, doesn’t actually turn pink. It’s the traditional name for April’s full Moon, inspired by early spring wildflowers that bloom during this time. It represents renewal, growth, and fresh beginnings. 🌸🌕

Whether you’re watching for the science, the beauty, or the spiritual meaning, these lunar moments remind us how incredible and perfectly timed our universe is.
Step outside, look up, and take a moment to appreciate the sky above you. 🌌

A blood Moon is coming!

On the night of March 2–3, the sky has something special in store. Earth will line up perfectly between the Sun and the Full Worm Moon, causing a stunning total lunar eclipse. Instead of disappearing, the Moon will slowly shift into a deep copper-red glow the breathtaking “Blood Moon.”

This dramatic color happens because Earth’s atmosphere bends and filters sunlight, allowing only the reddish tones to reach the Moon’s surface. The result? A hauntingly beautiful crimson sphere hanging in the night sky.

🕒 Totality will last nearly an hour, while the full eclipse stretches across more than five hours — giving plenty of time to watch the transformation unfold. And the best part? No telescope needed. Just your eyes and a clear sky.

🌎 Best places to watch:
Western North America (before sunrise), and across East Asia, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand during the evening. The Pacific region gets the most complete show.
Sadly, Europe and Africa will miss this one making it even more special for those in viewing zones.
During peak eclipse, the red Moon will shine near the constellation Leo, close to the bright star Regulus a truly unforgettable celestial pairing.

Don’t miss this rare cosmic alignment the next total lunar eclipse visible globally won’t come until 2029. Step outside, look up, and witness the sky paint itself red. 🌑🔴
