Proud to meet future nurses! Team members from Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center and Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital were both well represented and engaged with students at the Germanna Community College's Welcome Day/Clinical Orientation event on January 9th at the GCC Culpepper Campus.

Several hundred students attended and had the opportunity to discuss Sentara's Transition to Practice Program and Summer Nursing Student Internship programs. A bonus was meeting some of our current team members, and siblings of team members.

Germanna’s nursing program currently has 726 students, with plans to increase that number to 1,000 in the next few semesters. It's wonderful to see efforts to address the pipeline for nursing professionals. We hope to welcome many of them to Sentara.
