Yesterday, on the Feast of the Epiphany, we celebrated the traditional Christmas blessing of our home. This beautiful custom reminds us that Christ is welcomed into every place where we live, work, and care for one another.

Our chaplain, Father Paul, blessed the entire house—every room, even the kitchen—while the Sisters accompanied him, singing Christmas carols. Father Paul also offered a special blessing and prayer to our Residents and members of our staff.

A truly faith-filled and joyful moment in our home. ✨🙏

Welcoming the New Year together at St. Joseph’s Senior Home! 🎉
Residents, staff, volunteers, and Sisters gathered in the afternoon for a joyful celebration filled with music, dancing, maracas, and plenty of smiles. A delicious cake and sparkling juice (our festive “champagne”) made the celebration complete. What a beautiful way to begin the year—together!

After welcoming Baby Jesus, the celebration became joyful and lively as we sang Christmas songs, danced, clapped, and played instruments together. To complete the day, we shared a delicious cake beautifully inscribed: “Happy Birthday, Baby Jesus.” 🎂🎶❤️

St. Joseph’s Senior Home has been operated by the Little Servant Sisters of the Immaculate Conception since 1981. It is a non-profit Catholic healthcare community focused on offering a continuity of high-quality senior living.

The facility consists of a 60-bed Assisted Living and a 51-bed Nursing Center. Private and semi-private rooms are available, including some units with kitchenettes on AL side. The Senior Residence, which was converted into a Comprehensive Personal Care Home in 1996, provides care under the supervision of registered nurses and other medical professionals. The Nursing Center features 24-hour skilled nursing care. Come, see for yourself. Walk past the blossoming gardens into the sunny atmosphere of St. Joseph's Seniors Home in Woodbridge, New Jersey. Be greeted by the devoted staff, and witness their loving, personal attention to the needs of the residents. Notice the pristine and tastefully decorated meeting rooms and hallways.
