Health and Fitness Professionals on Coronavirus (COVID-19)
To the Members of our Community,
The health and safety of our patients, employees, and members of the local community are of the utmost importance to us.
The Health and Fitness Professionals team is monitoring the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and paying close attention to recommendations from local/federal officials.
Based on the recommendations to date, Health and Fitness Professionals will continue to offer all our services at our Scotch Plains, Woodbridge and Freehold locations. We are implementing additional precautionary measures to provide the safest possible environment. For example, we are working closely as a team to screen and identify any high risk persons, have ramped up our already high sanitization standards and will provide gloves, disinfectants, and hand sanitizer at our site.
It is our recommendation that our patients that are in the highest risk categories (Age greater than 80, or age greater than 60 with significant medical conditions such as Diabetes, Pulmonary conditions, impaired immune systems or significant Cardiovascular disease) stay safe and avoid additional exposure at this time. If you are in this category, we recommend that you follow established social distancing recommendations and to stay in your home. If you require advice to complete your plan of care, please reach out to us and we will have your health care provider ensure that you have a reasonable home exercise plan to help you keep on track with your goals.
In the event that circumstances change, we will provide updates and alternative options in advance.
