We're honored to have been included in the All Souls Mass with the parishioners of the Prince of Peace Parish. Many of these families we assisted through their time of grief, and we were grateful to be able to join so many of them remembering their loved ones and calling out their names. The Prince of Peace Hospitality Group did a beautiful job of honoring those parishioners and family members who have passed since November 1st, 2024. We would like to thank Sweet Nelsons, Ma Petite Bakery and Sumpin Sweet Treats for the beautiful cookies and delicious croissants, scones, muffins, and sweet rolls. They were enjoyed by all.

Good evening everyone we are asking for assistance for a family. Back in February we had a family who experienced a sudden loss. Loretta passed away leaving her adult disabled son, Robert, behind with no family to assist him. A wonderful neighbor and friend stepped up to help and has been a godsend to Robert. We as a funeral home donated our time and services, the town of Woodbury and Community Services Council have all helped with the the fees involved in the passing. The Woodbury Cemetery Association has generously donated a grave where we can place Loretta's ashes, but we need help to pay for the remainder of fees to bury those ashes and have an appropriate stone placed so Robert has a place to visit. The Lions Club and a very generous private individual have both donated. We are asking for the Public's help to fund the rest, neighbors helping neighbors. We have a donation page set on Loretta's obituary for the specific amount to cover those fees and no more. We thank you for your generosity.

A summer resource for any child who has lost a loved one. Many children will suppress their grief to not upset others any further and they won't necessarily open up to parents. These types of groups are key elements in a child's healing, and we are happy to be able to share with the public. You can find other local grief resources on our website, www.munsonloveterefuneralhome.com/local-grief-support

Look at this awesome photo we received the other day!

Rest assured, friends, no emergency is present. Our exceptional partners at the Southbury Fire Dept were practicing with their ladder truck a few evenings ago. Always ready and always prepared.

We offer our condolences to the family and friends of Thom Shea. Longtime teacher in Region 14.
