Sometimes healing looks like progress notes... and sometimes it looks like a dance party in the
office 🥰

When kids feel safe, their personalities shine - and these are our favorite kinds of appointments.

Happy Friday from our little corner of calm

You didn’t imagine it — you did try everything.

Diet.
Therapy.
Medication.
Routines.
Charts.
Less screens.

And they’re still overwhelmed.

Not because you failed…
but because behavior follows the nervous system.

When the body feels safe, everything else starts to work. 🤍

Judah’s journey has been filled with struggles — regulation challenges, sensory sensitivities, anxiety, and speech delays that impacted his daily life. 😔

For his mom, it felt exhausting and defeating.

As a stay-at-home mom, she had him in preschool, speech therapy, OT, ABA — doing everything she possibly could. And even with all of that support, nothing seemed to truly help.

They felt helpless.
They questioned if they were doing the right things.

But deep down, they knew there was something more going on.

Then came HOPE. 💡

Their family OT suggested trying Neurologically-Focused Chiropractic Care to support Judah’s anxiety and help regulate his nervous system — so the therapies he was already doing could work more effectively.

When they saw his neurological scans and how his body was functioning internally, it brought validation.

It helped explain the “why” behind his behaviors.

And then the wins began.

At first, they were small — but they were powerful. 💙

“Judah tried a new food willingly.”
Something that had never happened before.

Then came:
• New words
• Naming colors
• Repeating phrases with less prompting
• Fewer meltdowns during transitions

Just a few months ago, transitions meant kicking, screaming, and tears throughout the day — exhausting for both mom and Judah.

Now?

He transitions more easily.
He’s gaining new language.
He’s more content.
He’s often found playing with his brothers — something he hadn’t been able to do independently before.

He even became comfortable coming to the chiropractor.
At first, he would only allow one scan.
By the time he needed his second set, he willingly sat through all three.

With every little win, there is more peace and joy in their home. 🎉

We are so proud of his growth.
He’s making incredible progress.

Judah — way to go, buddy. 💙

When the World Feels Like “Too Much” for Your Child 😓⬇️

👉 Loud noises.
👉 Busy stores.
👉 Crowded classrooms.
👉 Big emotions.
👉 Unexpected touch.
👉 Strong smells.

For some kids, these everyday experiences can feel overwhelming, not because they’re “too sensitive,” but because their nervous system is working overtime.

Here’s what’s really happening 👇

Your child’s nervous system is like a computer with too many tabs open. 💻

It’s overloaded and struggling to filter sounds, lights, movement, and emotions the way it’s designed to.

When the nervous system is stuck in a stress response, even normal environments can feel intense and exhausting. That’s when meltdowns, shutdowns, and avoidance start to make sense.

At Mindset, we can help support and rebalance the nervous system, so kids can begin to process the world with more ease, flexibility, and calm. Public places feel safer. Transitions get smoother. And families often feel more freedom again.

Mama doesn’t need just a drink.
She needs support. 💛

A regulated nervous system.
Movement.
Fresh air.
Protein.
Minerals.
Space to breathe.
And yes—sometimes an adjustment.

Small supports add up. You’re not asking for too much—you’re listening to your body. 🤍

Hey mama 🤍
Can we share something we wish more moms were told sooner?

If you’ve done the tongue tie revision…
powered through the stretches…
and you’re still seeing clicking, reflux, gas, or a baby who just can’t settle—

You’re not overthinking.
You’re not being “too worried.”

That quiet feeling telling you something deeper is going on?
That’s your intuition—and it matters.

For many babies, a tongue or lip tie is only part of the picture. Even after a release, the tension and stress patterns that formed early on don’t always resolve on their own.

When the nervous system stays stuck in a heightened state, little bodies can struggle to relax, feed, and feel comfortable—no matter how much effort parents put in.

That’s why supporting the nervous system alongside a tie revision (or even when a revision isn’t indicated) can make such a difference.

If your gut is telling you there’s more going on, trust it.

Sometimes it’s not just the tie.
It’s a tiny nervous system that’s been in stress mode for too long.

And there is support for that 🤍
