THE IMPORTANCE OF EVOLUTIONARY PSYCHOLOGY
99.9% of all species that have ever roamed the earth are now extinct.
Physics - the study of the nature of Reality - is the science BEHIND the science - chemistry, biology, neuroscience, etc. All are functions of physics. This has significant implications for psychology.
At the Planck scale—the most fundamental level of reality—immaterial, organized information serves as the Blueprint for life. This "code" defines the structure, function, and field dynamics that underly every living [and non-living] thing in the universe, and facilitates the conscious transfer of information that drives evolution.
Simply put: All life is but a vehicle for the expression of quantum information.
In the complex algorithm we call Reality, free will is a variable that allows us to either drift or align. And because we are inherently "coded" for survival and evolution, mental pathology—such as anxiety and depression—arises when we deviate from the most authentic, direct path to full-realization. Addiction often follows, complicating matters. Think about it. Any gap between where you are now, and where you intuitively know you could be is a source of anxiety, likely accounted for by the exercise of free will further upstream.
The GOOD news is that, through abstinence from addiction and reconnecting with our Authentic Self, we can restore emotional sobriety and clear the way for full self-realization and lasting happiness.
BONUS: As human beings, true Love is the best experience we can possibly have on Earth. Since happy relationships are comprised of happy individuals, the math is clear: the journey to a better "us" begins with the evolution of "me."
Without an "us" there is no future - which is the entire point of evolution - the ongoing expression of quantum Information through Life.
