In a recent article with the Star Observer, Dr. Nicholas Weiss, orthopedic surgeon at Westfields Hospital & Clinic, shared more about the importance of bringing robotic-assisted surgery solutions to our patients in western Wisconsin.

Dr. Weiss will be using the VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solution for total knee replacements. The robot uses a variety of advanced technologies to assist surgeons as they perform a highly precise procedure.

He shares, “Total knee replacement has always been a good surgery, but there has been room for improvement. The robot helps us better replicate each surgery and get great results more consistently. For patients, this means a better feeling and functioning knee.”
