Your hip flexors, a part of Deep Front Line, help you lift your knees, stabilize your core, and move with strength and control. Modern life (hello sitting 👋) keeps them shortened and tight, which can lead to:
1. Posture Problems
Tight hip flexors pull your pelvis forward → anterior pelvic tilt.
2. Lower Back Pain
When hip flexors are shortened, your lower back muscles overcompensate to maintain upright posture, leads to strain, discomfort, or chronic lower back pain.
3. Reduced Mobility
Tight hip flexors limit hip extension → harder to walk, run, or fully extend your leg, and movements like lunges, squats, or even standing up become restricted.
4. Weak Glutes
Tight hip flexors inhibit the glutes from firing properly. Weak glutes reduce stability and power in exercises, especially running and jumping!
5. Knee & Hip Issues
Limited hip mobility forces other joints to compensate → more stress on knees and hips.
FST helps restore balance, ease tension, and get you moving the way your body was meant to move👍
