I absolutely love the results I see in kids, teens, and adults through neurofeedback.
I’m never shocked… but I am always deeply grateful.
Because when parents start sharing the changes they’re seeing in their child—not just in one area, but across their whole life—it’s powerful.
Last night, I had a conversation with a mom that reminded me exactly why I do this work.
Her 13-year-old son had been really struggling in school. His challenges with impulse control, distractibility, focus, and sitting still had become so significant that the school was recommending withdrawal and a transfer if things didn’t improve.
On top of that, sleep was a major concern. Nights were filled with fear—he couldn’t stay in his room and needed to be close to his parents.
Fast forward just three months.
Three months of training his brain.
And everything is shifting.
Mom shared that teachers are now praising him.
He’s taking initiative with his homework.
He’s doing his chores without being asked.
But even more than that… there’s a new presence about him.
A caring maturity.
A shift in how he speaks, responds, and carries himself.
And then two nights ago…
He slept in his own room until 5am.
His alarm goes off at 6.
For most people, that might seem small.
But for this family… it’s everything.
This is why I do what I do.
Because when you begin to train the brain—when you regulate it, support it, and strengthen it—you don’t just change behavior…
You change lives.
At Afton Therapy, we focus on healing from the top down and inside out.
And watching these transformations unfold never gets old.
