Have under eye hollowness but don’t want dermal fillers? Try Platelet Rich Fibrin for improvement! Also know as PRF, it is your own natural plasma filled with growth factors like PDGF that stimulates natural tissue growth. Subtle changes to make natural looking improvement. This patient had 3 sessions of treatment. The treatment consists of taking a vial of your blood and spinning it in a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells from the platelet rich plasma. The PRP is then activated to make Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) and injected into the depleted area. This process is done several times to achieve your goal. The number of treatments needed depends on the base line volume loss as well as age and overall health.
