There's a reason your pet is in your life...
Brody wasn’t the dog his mom meant to adopt.
But he made sure she chose him.
She thought she was picking a companion.
Brody knew he was picking a student.
When his mom reached out to me, she said:
“He throws tantrums on walks. He reacts to every dog."
When I connected with Brody, he told me very calmly:
“I’m smart. I love my life. And I know how to get what I want.
But I frustrate her on purpose. She needs rules. Structure. Discipline.
She keeps changing the rules. That’s why I push back.”
Sometimes the animal isn’t the one who needs training.
Sometimes they are training us.
More on Brody later this week…
