PinkTober - Supporting Thriving Pink!
We’ll be hosting several classes this month as a fundraiser for Thriving Pink, a Yolo County organization serving the local breast cancer community with programs, resources and support. All proceeds from the classes will be donated to Thriving Pink as part of their annual PINKtober campaign! Suggested donation is $5 for the series of classes. Non-members are welcome for a $10/day pass rate.
PINKtober is Thriving Pink’s (https://www.thrivingpink.org/pinktober) annual campaign in October, coinciding with National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, dedicated to raising awareness, building community, and creating tangible local impact for breast cancer thrivers in Yolo County.
Why Your Participation Matters: 1 in 8 women will face breast cancer in their lifetime, including family, friends, neighbors, employees, and members in our community. Participating in one of our events helps to make a positive difference and help those struggling with the difficult journey of a breast cancer diagnosis. Donations are tax-deductible, and all proceeds go to Thriving Pink’s core programs, including financial grants, educational workshops, and support groups. (Tax ID #81-2972130).
