Join us in welcoming Lou Enge as the new Executive Director of NAMI Yolo County! 🎉

Lou brings over 25 years of leadership experience in mental health, housing, and community development. Most recently, she served as Regional Lead for NAMI California, supporting nine affiliates across Northern California.

Her passion for building partnerships and expanding access to vital services makes her the perfect leader to guide us into our next chapter.

“Lou’s nonprofit background, deep experience with NAMI’s programs as Executive Director for NAMI Marin will be important for NAMI Yolo County as we meet the increased need for family and peer supports in Yolo County”, said Stacie Frerichs, Board President of NAMI Yolo County. “Her ability to foster partnerships, strengthen organizations, and respond to community needs makes her the ideal leader to guide us into our next chapter.”

Thanks to the incredible support from our community, NAMIWalks Yolo County 2025 was a huge success — together, we raised $60,000 to support mental health advocacy, education, and support right here in Yolo County! 💚

We are beyond grateful to each and every walker, volunteer, sponsor, and board member who showed up with heart, energy, and purpose. Your presence made this event special, and your dedication continues to fuel our mission of building better lives for those affected by mental illness.

A very special thank you goes out to Holly Wong and her team at Community Event Co., Kendall Doten, our incredible walk manager, our incredible community partner Woodland Community College, and our own Jen Boschee-Danzer — your leadership, passion, and tireless efforts were instrumental in making this walk such a powerful and uplifting day.
