Shenandoah Memorial Hospital was pleased to welcome Alan Morgan, CEO of the National Rural Health Association, and Beth O'Connor, Executive Director of the Virginia Rural Health Association, earlier this week. During their visit, the group toured the hospital and had the chance to speak with several hospital leaders to learn first hand what some of the challenges rural hospitals like ours continue to face. We remain committed to providing superior care and are eager to collaborate with these and other health-related groups to improve access to quality care for all.

Valley Health celebrated a ceremonial ribbon cutting of its newest specialty care facility, Valley Health Center for Orthopedic Excellence | Wi******er, on November 10. A team of three experienced providers offers comprehensive treatment for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including those affecting the knee, hip, elbow, wrist, and hand. The Center, located on the campus of Wi******er Medical Center, is the health system’s first general orthopedics practice in the Wi******er, VA area and part of a network of five additional Valley Health Center for Orthopedic Excellence locations in Martinsburg, Front Royal, Woodstock, New Market, and Luray. Our growing network of locations enables patients to receive comprehensive orthopedic care without leaving their local community.
