We often hear about “generational trauma”—but here’s the truth: we can also pass down generational health. 🌱

Even if you didn’t grow up with the best examples of wellness, you can shift the story for your family. Every choice you make—choosing whole foods, moving your body, creating rhythms of rest, practicing kindness, and showing up with love—becomes part of the foundation your children will build upon.

Children absorb what we model. When they see us prioritize our well-being, they learn that caring for themselves matters too. This includes the small, consistent steps that keep our nervous systems balanced and adaptable—like getting regular chiropractic care. When our bodies function well, we’re better equipped to handle stress, connect with others, and model vitality for the next generation.

Generational health isn’t about being perfect—it’s about being intentional. Each adjustment, each nourishing meal, each deep breath is a seed planted for your children and their children after them. 💛

Your legacy can be one of resilience, strength, and wellness—and that’s a story worth passing down.

🍂 Don’t let fall chores turn into fall injuries.🍂
Fall chores are in full swing—raking, lifting pumpkins, yard work… all of which can take a toll on your spine. Keep yourself safe and moving well with these tips:

1️⃣ Switch sides when raking to avoid strain.
2️⃣ Bend at your knees (not your waist!) when lifting.
3️⃣ Take a stretch + water break every 20 minutes.
4️⃣ Support your spine and nervous system with regular chiropractic care.

Your body will thank you all season long. 🌿✨

🌎✨ Today we celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day—a time to honor the wisdom, resilience, and rich cultures of Native peoples, past and present.

One tradition we’re especially grateful for is rebozo sifting—an Ancient Mayan practice that uses a woven shawl to gently rock the belly and pelvis. We use it in our prenatal care to help ease tension, support balance, and create comfort for expecting mothers. 🌿🤰

At Pogrelis Chiropractic, we celebrate these traditions that remind us of the deep connection between body, community, and the natural world. 💛

✨ 4 simple steps to mindful living = a calmer, stronger nervous system ✨
Every time you pause, breathe, and get present, you’re giving your body’s control center a reset. 🧠⚡
Mindfulness isn’t just good for the mind—it’s nourishment for the nervous system. 🌿💛

I just ADORE these two women. Let us all hope (and donate when we can) for more support for breast cancer research and support for women (and men) who battle this disease everyday. To those who are missing their warriors, we see you and are thinking about you. To those who are in the fight, we are here for you and rooting you on. Cheers to all of you!

For today’s Women’s Wellness Wednesday we want to highlight one beautiful cancer survivor in particular: Greta, mother of our very own Geraynah. Thankfully, Greta’s cancer was caught in its very early stages. Remember, early detection saves lives. Here are RFC, we encourage patients to know their bodies, get adjusted, eat good whole foods, stay positive and encourage your loved ones to do the same. And to all our Ribley patients who have been affected by breast cancer, either personally or through loved ones, we see you, and we support you.🩷
