Blood donation is a simple act that makes a lifesaving difference. Every day, patients rely on donated blood for emergency care, surgeries, cancer treatments, and chronic illness management—and one donation can help save multiple lives.

This month, we’re proud to highlight the importance of blood donors and the critical role they play in keeping our community healthy. Cottage Hospital will be partnering with the American Red Cross to host upcoming blood drives right here on campus.

💙 Thank You, Bill Taxter, for 13 Years of Service 💙

Cottage Hospital extends its sincere gratitude to Bill Taxter as he retires from our Board after 13 years of dedicated service. Bill has been a constant presence in our community, always willing to lend his time, support, and energy to Cottage Hospital events and initiatives over the years.

His connection to Cottage Hospital is deeply rooted — his wife, Jackie, previously served as a nurse at Cottage, and together they have long supported our mission of providing high-quality, local care. Bill continues to contribute to our community today through his work as a stonemason, reflecting the same commitment and pride he brought to his service on our Board.

Thank you, Bill, for your years of leadership and for being such a valued part of the Cottage Hospital family.
