We are looking for a few volunteers for the activity department. We are looking for someone interested in helping in the nail boutique. We do nails here on Tuesday afternoons starting at 1pm. We would also like to have a volunteer bingo caller for Saturdays. The time is negotiable! If you like doing crafts, we could use your help or if you would just like to come and visit with a resident we got a great place for you! The last Friday of the month brought great joy to all of us at Park View. Our Kids View kids came up for their weekly visit and we all had a grand time. First we heard a story about "The Good Egg", then we all had the wiggles so we had to shake them out with "If your happy and you know it". The we had another story titled "Move over Rover", then it was time for a matching game with the residents and then a silly dancing song. We had so much energy in the room, beautiful smiles, and happy faces!

Last Friday we had so much fun with Kids View! Did you know that they can count to 10 in Spanish? They showed us all kinds of colors and different shapes and put them on board all doing it correctly. Playing beach ball was more like a tug of war, but we enjoyed watching them. Lots of high 5's and fist bumps to say good-bye! We love Friday's so much, the best way to start the day is with all the energy, smile and love they bring to us!

Today Kids View Babies came for a visit! Today the fascination was a walker. It moved, it rolled and they just didn't know what to think. Another interesting item was the books. I think we will have a couple of authors coming out of this group. Our residents just love the babies, and they thought we were funny! Another perfect Friday with the little ones.
