Dr Macik was our PMD 10 years years ago. Having been a HC provider, myself, I found her to be compassionate with tons of empathy. She really listens to the patient’s concerns. Besides that, Dr Macik saved my life. She sent me to a local cardiologist who said a hole in my heart (PFO) had completely healed. Dr Macik sent me for another opinion. Thank goodness bc the hole is a Grade V. The largest it can be. I’d been planning a diving trip. If I’d have died believing my heart was not an issue anymore, I would have most definitely died ascending.

If you truly care about your health, I highly recommend uncommon healthcare. I just left Dr Macik‘s office after having an hour long, productive, mental health visit. You read that right… AN HOUR! Dr Macik truly cares about her patients and takes the time to understand your complete medical history, and to thoroughly explore your medical issues to come to an accurate diagnosis and treatment. Before discovering Uncommon healthcare, I would wait in the waiting room for 30 minutes before sitting in a doctors office for 20 minutes only to have a doctor come in and give me less than 15 minutes of their time. Rarely would I ever feel like I had received enough attention to properly diagnose me. Not only is Dr Macik thorough, but she is also very personable, calming, and non-judgemental. Furthermore , Uncommon healthcare is also extremely accommodating. I have had multiple instances where I’ve needed medical advice while out of the country and I was able to text the office with pictures and explanations to receive medical advice. I cant say enough good things about Dr.Clay and the staff at Uncommon healthcare. This practice has been a Blessing to me. I went in for a visit today and I was taken right back and out the door in less than an hour. The personalized care is out of this world and more practices need to take note. It is extremely rare in today's day and age to find somewhere like Uncommon Healthcare. Whenever I am seen there, I am treated with the upmost respect. In addition, not only does Dr. Macik treat me with what she knows but she is also willing to research on her own time to find a solution.
