AS OF SEPTEMBER 30, 2021, THE BALLOU HOME HAS CLOSED AFTER OVER 120 YEARS. THE STAFF THROUGHOUT THESE YEARS, HAVE MADE MADE THIS A TOP HOME IN THE STATE OF RI. The Ballou Home is a 43 Bed, Not for Profit, Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center comprised of 27 Private rooms and 8 Semi-Private Rooms. We offer Short-term Rehab, Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy in all our rooms, as well as, our well equipped therapy room. Our therapy team challenges every resident to be at their personal best. Nursing, Therapy and Activity Programs are designed to meet your individual Needs as you return to your maximum level of functioning. All activities offered at The Ballou Home on a daily basis, are based on fulfilling each of the seven dimensions of wellness, which are;
