Join me in congratulating on her new Bench Press PR! 🙌💪🏼

Kim decided a few months ago that she wanted to work toward 120lbs.

So…we added a 2nd day of bench to increase her volume and progressed her each week! She came into yesterday’s session excited, but nervous (adrenaline is a wonderful driver of strength)!!

She not only pushed 120lbs (with her Dad there to help spot) but did it with ease!! So, naturally, we added 5lbs more more!! And yep, she NAILED THAT TOO!! NEW PR = 125lbs!! 💪🏼🔥

I’m beyond proud of her dedication & commitment to her training and feel fortunate to be her Coach for the last 6 years!! She’s an inspiration to all of our members!! 💜

In addition to being a client, Kim got certified in TRX Suspension Training in 2024 and now coaches her own clients both 1-2-1 and in group classes. And…she’s pursuing her Personal Training Certification as well, so she’ll soon be meeting clients on the gym floor to help them reach their own PR’s!!

The MPOWER 10-MILE CLUB 👟 is a weekly walking/running group on your own schedule.

It gives you an opportunity to join others who also want to increase their weekly activity.

We share our progress with the group via the STRAVA app (FREE account). Doing it TOGETHER helps to :

- Build community
- Gain another layer of accountability
- Participate in some healthy competition

HOW DOES IT WORK?

- Complete 10-MILES per week
- You choose which increments work best for you (min distance = 0.5 miles)
- Miles tallied MONDAY thru SUNDAY
- For each week you complete 10-miles (or more), your name will be entered into a lottery
- At the end of the 6-WEEK BLOCK, one name will be drawn and the winner will receive 50% OF THE POT 💰

HOW DO I JOIN?

- Download the STRAVA app 🧡 from the app store
- Create a FREE account

We are excited to introduce our very first (of many!) MPOWER workshops 💪🏼

Meet Andrew! Our newest member of the MPOWER TEAM!!

Andrew is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, currently finishing his Master’s in Human Nutrition. After years of helping friends, family, and online clients, he’s now working in-person to help more people reach their health and fitness goals.

With a background as an endurance athlete, former chef, and someone who's been through his own weight-loss journey, Andrew brings a well-rounded, relatable approach to training. He focuses on nutrition, strength, mobility, habit-building, and performance, and works with a wide range of clients aged 15 and older.

Whether you're a former athlete, total beginner, or somewhere in between, Andrew tailors each program to fit your needs. He's big on creating sustainable routines, realistic goals, and making the whole process enjoyable. From running your first 5k to building better eating habits or getting stronger, Andrew’s here to help you make real progress.
