At Christmas many of us are familiar with the scripture that calls Jesus the "Prince of peace and the Mighty God." He is mighty as Creator but not only that, he gets involved in His creation, you and me, and he cares for our lives in the joys and tears.

One pastor said about his coming that, "divinity invaded humanity." I love that! The Creator coming to rescue his creation from sin. He came to give real hope: the knowledge that there will come a tomorrow when things are not just better but perfect. Therefore, even in difficult times, "with Jesus the worst thing is never the last thing."

So, I say to you, Merry Christmas both now and into the new year!

Mrs. Claus arrived straight from the North Pole, bringing sparkling snowflakes, warm holiday cheer, and plenty of smiles to our residents’ faces. It’s a magical season no matter your age, and moments like these remind us just how joyful this time of year can be.

West View Healthy Living is blessed to be guided by a dedicated, voluntary Board of Trustees entrusted with overseeing campus operations and strategic planning. As we approach the end of the year, we would like to recognize three Trustees whose terms will soon conclude.

We extend our deepest gratitude to each of these outstanding leaders for their years of faithful service to the residents and staff of West View. Their commitment has been instrumental in shaping the growth, operations, and continued excellence of our campus.

We would like to especially honor Mike Force, who has served as Board Chair for more than 20 years. His steady leadership has guided West View through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, ongoing campus development, and the complexities of the long-term care industry. His impact and legacy are truly remarkable.

We remain profoundly grateful to our entire Board of Trustees for their vision, stewardship, and unwavering support as we continue advancing our mission and looking toward the future.

Holiday fun, laughter, and a little bit of magic.

We were grateful to gather for the Christmas Celebration, hosted at The Connection Conference and Event Center, where employees and their families enjoyed festive games, a wonderful dinner, and an unforgettable performance by Rick Smith Jr. - his talent and energy brought joy to guests of every age.

Sharing this evening together reminded us how meaningful it is to pause, connect, and celebrate the season with the people who make our mission possible.

Huge Congratulations to Our Fitness Challenge Finishers!

We’re excited to celebrate 43 dedicated participants who recently completed a 20-Day Fitness Challenge at the Wellness Center.

This amazing group earned points by attending fitness classes, logging time in the gym and therapy pool, and joining us for open swim. Together, they completed an incredible 646 total activities, a true testament to their commitment, consistency, and energy.

Thank you to everyone who participated and made this challenge such a success. Great job, challengers! Keep the momentum going!
